Question 5

What is a rental agreement in Hyderabad?

Accepted Answer

A rental agreement is the written contract between the owner and the tenant. In Hyderabad it usually runs for 11 months, records rent, deposit, lock-in, notice, and occupancy, and is printed on stamp paper and notarised. HousingPal prepares this document, you confirm the draft, then we print, notarise, and courier within Hyderabad 500xxx PINs.

Question 6

Do I need to register an 11-month rental agreement in Hyderabad?

Accepted Answer

HousingPal’s launch covers 11-month agreements only. They are commonly used so the document does not have to be registered as a 12-month lease under the Registration Act. Stamp paper and notarisation are still arranged after you confirm the draft. 12-month registered leases are not available on HousingPal yet.

Question 7

How much does a HousingPal rental agreement cost?

Accepted Answer

The launch offer is ₹299 (usual price ₹499) for print on stamp paper, notarisation, and courier of one hard copy in Hyderabad. A second notarised copy is ₹249. Either the owner or the tenant can pay at housingpal.in/rental-agreement.

Question 8

How do I get a rental agreement with stamp paper in Hyderabad?

Accepted Answer

Fill the form at housingpal.in/rental-agreement, pay, review the full draft including the rent-increment clause, and confirm it (or request edits). HousingPal then prints on stamp paper, notarises, and couriers. Typical turnaround is 3–5 working days after confirmation.

Question 9

Does rent increase during an 11-month rental agreement?

Accepted Answer

On HousingPal’s draft, rent stays fixed for the 11-month term. If the tenancy is renewed, rent increases by the percentage you choose (default 10%; 0% means no automatic increase) unless both parties agree otherwise in writing.
